Re:Play is a zine centered on retelling the story. In order to achieve that, artists and writers will choose scenes from the original game and express them in their own artistical way.

FAQ

  • Is the zine going to be profit or non-profit?

It's going to be profit. Every contributor is going to gain a certain quantity of money (the amount will depend on the total earnings that we collect with sales). The distribution will be equal.

  • Why profit?

The Worlds Ends With You is a game whose one of its main subjects is the essence of art. With the current situation regarding COVID-19, many artists and writers are having financial problems, as Cons have been canceled and other related issues relating to jobs, so we thought it would be a good idea for a zine focused on TWEWY to be profit for all the amazing artists who will participate. This will be a tribute to a wonderful game that marked the lives of many artists.

  • Will the zine be physical or digital?

After the results of the Interest Check, we confirmed that there will be both versions for sale.

  • Which Content Rating is going to be?

TWEWY is rated PEGI 12: Video games that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters or non-realistic violence towards human-like characters. Mild sexual innuendo and mild strong language can be present. Gambling as it is normally carried out in real life in casinos or gambling halls can also be present.
Taking this in account, in terms of ESRB rating, this will be rated as T (Teen) so mild blood will be permited (for example scratches, little blood stains, small blood pool, etc). Mutilations, extremly detailed wounds, great amount of blood, too detailed or brutal violence will be forbidden to draw and/or write.
Since the game has no sexual scenes or strong innuendos, you will not encounter this in this zine.

  • Will Shippings innuendo be permited?

Yes, as long as it's mild innuendo, since the game has no Canon Shippings and it's more friendship development centered.
If you have a question, everything about this matter will be also supervised by the mods, so you can always ask their opinion about something you are planning to draw or write.
